Encounters Award for Best Director — Every Winner and Nominee

Every film recognised in the Berlinale Encounters Award for Best Director category in CineRoll's records: 6 films across 5 years, 6 of them winners.

The most recent winner is Cidade; Campo (2024); the earliest on record is Malmkrog (2020).

The last three winners were Cidade; Campo (2024), The Echo (2023) and Unrest (2022).

The list is newest first. Each year shows the winner at the top, then the other nominees; a year with enough nominees links to its own page.
